Vergriffen!

Today, our society faces the challenge of reducing harmful and climate active emissions, deriving from the combustion of fossil fuels, which are currently the primary source of energy. At the same time an ever increasing demand for energy needs to be covered. Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies could provide a solution to this energy crisis, as hydrogen can be produced from a vast number of renewable resources. Hydrogen can then be further utilized in fuel cells for the generation of sustainable and emission-free electricity at high conversion efficiency.

The foundation for this ambitious goal lies in the knowledge transfer from expert scientist to young researchers. The International Summer School on Advanced Studies of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells enables students from all over the world to learn from internationally renowned experts from Japan, Germany, Italy, France and Austria. The presented topics are summarized in the proceedings.
