“Magic Through the Eyes of a Mathematician” began as a compilation of some of my mathematical magic tricks, most of which I explain in many of my public talks. But in its creation, it became a dialogue between my mathematical self and my magician self, resulting not only in tricks but also in magic theory (which I have put into practice throughout my years of performing for mathematical audiences). Therefore, the pages of the book are not your typical compendium of tricks with a simple explanation, but rather my vision and understanding of them through the eyes of a mathematician and their execution with the hands of a magician.
