In research and industry, sustainability in its three well-known dimensions of ecology, social affairs and economy is now much more than “environmentally friendly thinking” and is therefore neither luxury nor fashion, but simply indispensable for responsible and future-oriented action. Due to the breadth of the topic, it is due to the increasing specialization in the industry – again in science and business – that individuals can only have a fragmentary view of sustainability.
This is where the Logistikwerkstatt 2023 comes in, by bringing together specialists and industry experts from intralogistics and production logistics with researchers from technical logistics, software technology, building services engineering and hydrogen technologies and not shying away from an ethical view of the topic.
The book with explanatory texts again makes the presentations available to the readers in the tried and tested way. The results of the discussions (referred to as “workshop” according to the conference title) follow again in a corresponding specialist article.
